The Shirt Box in Farmington Hills will help the Movember Foundation fund men’s health programs, through the sale of SAXX Stache underwear now through November 30.
Known for its campaign encouraging men to grow a mustache during the month of November to start the discussion of men’s health, the Movember Foundation is a global charity committed to men living happier, healthier, longer lives.
“Offering special SAXX Stache during the month of November was a logical fit for us,” said Shirt Box co-owner Rod Brown. “We care about giving back to the community and believe there’s just not enough discussion about men’s health. A company that makes a great product and cares about men’s health, too, is a perfect fit for The Shirt Box and its customers.”
Since 2003, millions have joined the Movember men’s health movement, raising $650 million and funding over 1,000 programs focusing on prostate cancer, testicular cancer, poor mental health and physical inactivity. The nonprofit works year-round with their global men’s health partners and academic and clinical institutions to ensure programs accelerate improvements to some of the biggest health issues faced by men.
